Oil

There isn't a shortage of oil. And they find new deposits of oil all the time. Just a few months back, an enormous amount (like 10 billion barrels) was found off the coast of Mexico. Anyways, Ethanol gasoline is the best alternative, we can grow it here. Solar energy only works when its sunny. Wind power only works when its windy. Nuclear energy is good, but not viable for vehicles.

I agree that there is shortage of oil. i think solar and atomic energy is the best option.

Yes there is a shortage of oil in the world. As far as more resources, I don't understand why we don't use more solar and wind power.
