'Coffee and tea' addiction or something èlse

I ask this question to those who are badly addicted to either of the two ! What makes ppl go that much crazy? Is that caffine? Or some thing else that makes one go addictive?

i think..one our inate nature for some comfort..in something familiar we can turn too..and the caffeine..i love my tea with two sugars and milk..i have it in the afternoon to give me a boost..
