silent type???

I really don't understand why my boy friends wanted me to be silent at times. I mean they want me to change from a noisy girl to a shy and silent type one. They say that some guys would be discourage if i kept on laughing out loud and being noisy. i don't understand. Is it really not proper for a girl to be noisy?? (at the proper place of course)..I was really hurt when they said that..Is it right to change myself just to please others???

To talk is pearl and to be silent is gold. Probably your bf thinks that by being silent you gain lot of knowledge (by listening) and you gain lot of strength by being silent.Itis for your welfare.
