Is it safe to have robot in home...?

My friend have decided to get robot for him. He has a son 4 yrs.old. Is it safe to do so..? Can child be allowed to live in home alone with robot?

yes it is quit safe because it help to doing many jobs,without the help of human. & no harm effect on child.

I don't think there is any problem in that robots I made those of humans and if they have no artificial intelligence than I think we have no risk in for in keeping them. Actually it was made over life easy they can do things which we don't like to do. Also it to give us more time to spend on in port and things that are research related. And this way we can improve and develop very quickly.

i think it is safe enough to get a robot for yourself or for your child as there is no way it canharm anyone let alone a child. and if there is no battery then it will not be moving by itself.

It is safe as long as the robot has been program well and doesnt have any defects. Be warned that the battery of a robot can explode and it is so risky.
