have you ever tried saying stuff like this to ppl around you ?? it, actually, works wonders! a simple line like this changes the whole mood and elevates the atmosphere. it makes us feel fresh, nice and motivated and gives a tremendous high in self esteem. even our apparent enemies can be befriended this way....

I always try to say it to the girl who really has the quality of it. It's part of to glorify God who has created such a beautiful girl. By saying you are so beautiful, it means thanks God. Because God has given us the beautiful things to thank Him and to praise Him as the source of all the beauty..

How can we see the inner beauty? It needs a conversation to see it.. I agree if we must admit the inner beauty is more than a beauty in the skin. But, I think we should praise God too for beauty in the skin. It's great and wonderful. It's from God too and we can enjoy it. Though, I don't like if someone asking, "Am I pretty?"..Ha..ha.. Just see the discussion below...There's no inner beauty in the question, isn't it?

who said, u have to praise the inner beauty without interacting ?? u can always talk, interact, observe and praise him/ her. "ppl around" doesn't mean you should walk upto ppl in street and utter those words to every second or third person ! (did i sound like a fool while posting!)what i meant was ppl with whom we interact, gel or not gel.
may be i was not that expressive and the discussion was not so transparent, i am sorry for that.
and yes, i never ruled out outer beauty. what i said was to me, a person is more beautiful from within than from without. but i can never deny the outer presence of so many beauties on earth.

i really appreciate. we should appreciate inner beauty aswell. i think beauty is not only skin deep and a person is beautiful more from within than from without.
yes, we should praise all beautiful creations of God to glorify Him.

Yes, I have said that often to my friends, family and complete strangers. I hope it has a good impact on them and makes them feel good about themselves. I know when I'm feeling down about myself (which seems to be all the time) and someone tells me something nice, it makes the rest of my day happier and brighter. Amazing how a little bit of kindness goes a long way and what a difference it can make in people's lives.

hehe..i don really say that to that person's face....i find it very hard to compliment people...i will say stuff like 'you are cute, you are great, you are the best' but i've never say 'you are so beautiful'....maybe if she's really that beautiful, i might say it...

i can understand eunice. you are the kind who hardly falls for flattery, but you don't have to flatter. try this out and see the magic. don't sound fake and try to appreciate inner beauty aswell.

I have said things like "You look really well today" or "I really like your dress". But it needs to be honest and there needs to be an element of truth in what you say. If you say it too often and if you say it when it obviously isn't true, people start to think you are a sycophant and they will discount everything you say.

i didnot mean it that way. you donot have go around searching for ppl or complimenting every fifth ppl on street! come on, that is not advisable and i don't want you to sound like a stupid man on the verge of losing his brains. what i meant was, we should say it often to ppl we want to. many a times we think but actually donot say it. i don't want you to sound fake and rehearsed. we should appreciate the inner and outer beauty of a person which appeals to our senses. that's it, snowflake.

Ya I have said like that. I compliment like this 'U r really looking very Beautiful, GOD save u from Bad eyez'. this really makes d person smile :), n his/her smile broadens. This really changes the mood of d person n d party.

Yeah, I would have to agree, saying something like this would definitely make people feel happier, and lighten grave situations. I do not have a problem expressing myself, and I would have to agree to your statement about inner beauty.
I find that, girls who can carry themselves well, and have the ability to carry on an intelligent conversation are the most beautiful. I am like blindedfox, I speak my mind, and do not mind the slightest bit telling any girl (even the not so pretty ones) that they are beautiful. It's just one of the many ways of spreadinng the love!

i really appreciate. i cannot agree more when you say that saying such stuff elevates a situation and make us feel so very better in grave circumstances. and i do agree intelligent ppl are beautiful, if i may add to it, beautiful and compassionate ppl are beautiful and i cannot over rule actual good looks aswell.

I do that a lot. =) I am the type of guy who says what i see.. I often say "Why are you so pretty?" then smile. It works wonders. I have gained friends thru this simple yet effective compliment. =)

i bet, you do it to beautiful gals only. try this out to others aswell and see the magic. donot sound very artificial and concentrate more on inner beauty.
