Has anyone been to Spain recently?

I really want to visit Spain but the cost would kill me right now. I know someone there and would love to visit both him and the city he's from (Marbella). If you visited recently (within the past year), approximately how much did it cost you and where did you go?

I was there over two years ago--I had a great time. It is more expensive to travel now. I was in Madrid, Barcelona, and Salamanca.

same here, i so wanna visit spain but i don't have the money for the time being :( also it requires me to take leave from work which i can't afford at the moment T_T ..hope that you'll be able to visit spain sooner or later! :)
