I am trying to start a chapter in Utah. My name is Patricia Morehart. I live in Sandy, Utah. My daughter Tammy Lovell (32), her daughter Cassadra Lovell (15), son Jacob Lovell (10), her boyfriend Steven Duffy (30) and his brother Shane (18) were murdered in their home in Mesa Az. on Febuary 21, 2006. I have no family in Utah so there for I need a helping hand with emotional support as I try to carry on. I feel there is a need in Utah for this chapter. I have been getting my support from the National Chapter in Ohio. I have been in contact with a few people in Utah and they feel there is a need also. I have an awesome victim advocate that I work with in Az. She keeps me well informed on the court issues. She is the one who put me in contact with the chapter and invited me to the national conference in Phx. this past August. It was awesome and I learned a lot and it really helped me survive this far. I would like all victim advocate in the Salt Lake Valley to offer me their comments on to how they feel this would help the citizens of our communities. I work a full time job but am willing to devote my spare time as I want to start this chapter in my daughter name. I want something good to come of my family's death. I am in contact with Murray advocate, a lady from the Attorney,s General Office, and another support group for victims of domestic violence. This chapter is not just for parents. It is for all people and support teams of anyone impacted by violence and murder. Pleasehelp me in this matter. Thank you Patricia Morehart e-mail patlcp@msn.com
