1996 Honda civic 1.6 vTi auto tranny

Hello! my car used to shift at 2,000 to 2,300 rpm from 1st gear to 2nd. But i've noticed its shifting above 3,000 rpm nowadays.The gas mileage is around 1 liter to 5 km. from 1:8. is there anyone who has a similar problem?How were you able to fix it?
