i have read the most criticized and ventured book "the da vinci code". the story depicts about the most powerful secrets hidden ever in the human history, revealing which would make the human world go crazy. albeit it was such a strong secret Dan Brown attempted to put forward the untruthful story in a wonderfully scripted book called "the da vinci code" it says that jesus had married a girl "mary magdeline" who was then known to be an unwanted. but her identity was supposed to be hidden as she had a supposed child of jesus christ. the secret of where the heirs of jesus are, is the one which was to be found. as you read the book, you can actually feel your self soaring in the journey from cipher to decipher. the characterization and the narration is phenomenal. but most of the people (including dan brown) say that its a fiction. what do you feel? did the priory of sion ever existed? was there the secret guardians for this haunted secret? only JESUS knows.

The Priory of Sion did in fact exist. Look it up on Wikipedia. Regarding the book, I think it's a fabulous piece of fiction...though there are many truths in there as well. I think that what caused so much controversy was the fact that Dan Brown HUMANIZED Jesus Christ. People keep forgetting the fact that Jesus was sent to Earth as a HUMAN MAN. I don't know if this theory is true as I've always considered it part of a fictional story...but it wouldn't surprise me had it been revealed that it was true. Isn't love important to God? So if Jesus fell in love with someone, would it be so bad if it came to surface?

Yeah dude I haven't read the book but saw its program on TV- It seems that David Brown was not able to completely prove his part of story. He did research into the whole matter and he also met the family of magdeline but was not able to prove the story regarding marriage of Jesus.

Yes, some of it is true. I think that in one of the first pages of the book the autoer mentions some facts about the book. Not all of it is real, but it's based on true facts.

Dan Brown was not the first person to write on the subject. Infact he did a lot of research especially on texts already written on Holy Grail and Knights Templers. The Knights Templers did exists and you may even find their remnants in the ancient structures in Jeruselam. There was a documentry aired on National Geographic sometimes back. However the issue remained inconclusive after I watched it.
