i have done both. depending upon the circumstances i have done this. if the circumstance is such that if i accept the fault and there is punishment for the same then i never accept my fault. if there is no harm in accepting my fault then i accept my fault. this is because i dont' want to suffer. although i know this is not good but i dont' like bad things showered upon me. have a nice day on mylot

initial reaction is always defensive we must get past that to grow.

I think I do often but when I reflect I change to acceptance of my faults.

If I know the fault is mine, I say so. I do not like to blame anyone for something that I have done myself.

I tend to own up. I have no problem accepting when I'm wrong...or when I was just being moody and rude. The only time I play the "blame game" is jokingly with my husband. Like this morning...it was his fault for not covering the banana bread, he said it was my fault for making it, i said it was his fault for making me think of bananas, he said it was my fault for craving them, i said it was his fault for knocking me up (and thus me getting cravings), blah blah blah we continued it for awhile and then let it go. It wasn't serious and before we were even halfway done the banana bread had been taken care of. We just like to play around. :)
