Hello! I think that Sans Amp makes good preamps! There are many kind of pre amps available! You have to try and compare various preamps. I like tube preamps. I have Art Sgx nightbass effect unit. It has tube preamp. It's good enough to me. Greetings from Finland!

Welcome to my lot. You will find this a very good place to learn, to discuss, and to have friends. Just respond to as many discussions as possible with at least 3 sentences and stay on topic. Build your friend base, start new discussions that can be related to. Read some others discussions to get an idea how to start new ones.

Hi, I am referring to add-ons not to the preamp. I'm a fellow bass player and an add-on that is a must is sustain enhancement. The more solid your bass, the more sustain & the deeper the tone. I achieved this on my Yamaha custom 5 string by adding a better bridge as well as a brass nut.
