Spontaneous Human Combustion

What are your theories to how Spontaneous Combustion happens? I have a few ideas that I think are possible... I think it could have something to do with their lifestyle: were they alone? Active? Drinking a lot of alcohol? A type of gastric disorder? Smoker? I think all of these had to do with what happened. The alcohol and a gastric disorder could make the body flammable from the inside... smoking might just effect the outside from catching fire but I think it all happened from the inside. I think some might have had a chemical imbalance of some sort... How would the body start fire?? I think they would have thought they were sick ... it might have started out as a fever, stomach pain or heartburn type feeling and that would get the blood pumping... the fast paced blood flow would heat up the body. The blood flows mainly to the center of the body. The alcohol, acid in the stomach, and other chemicals in the body would ignite from the friction of the blood and that’s where is would start. The fire would sustain in the body from the fat and muscle and burn from the inside out (Human Wick Effect). Perhaps, Irving Bentley thought he was having a fever since he died by a cup of water and was trying to cool down. The others seemed as though they went sleep when it happened, possibly died from the brain over heating and the rest of the body burned within and couldn’t reach the limbs of some of the people. I would like to hear your theories or comment on my little craziness. It’s not thorough but it’s just what I could get out of my head so far… this is a link to an article about some people who died from SHC (it originally was in Italian) http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=it&u=http://www.horrormagazine.it/rubriche/941&sa=X&oi=translate&resnum=1&ct=result&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dhttp://www.horrormagazine.it/rubriche/941%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26sa%3DN

I just read about this Bentley person and the case of spontaneous human combustion in my weird pennsylvania book. This was dated back to what happened in 1966. I think was the first case I had ever heard of. I've heard that it is believed to be true that this can happen but it just seems so crazy. I think your theory though is a pretty good theory and could be looked into to see how high the possiblity is of what you think can cause shc.
