which is the most intelligent dog in the world ... the labrador or the retriever ????

None of those, even though they are also smart. The dog that I've always thought as being the most intelligent on this whole world is the german sheppard. Plus it's atlhetic, faithful and loyal as no other dog.

I think sniffer dogs are highly intelligent, a fair few different breeds of dogs are sniffer dogs too not just labradors. I think spaniels, particularly springer and cocker spaniels are really intelligent, I think the breed is used quite a lot as sniffer dogs.

nope ... the labrador is different from retriever ... and the last can be gold, black etc...

i think labrador is the most intelligent dog among all dogs.

Both are so intelligent that it almost doesnt matter. But I also think Labs are. They also make excellent retreiver dogs too so they are a great hunting dog.
