I am using a book called yoga RX. It had many work out for illnesses and I was wondering if I should do the main routine and all other illness work out every day? On the other hand, should I spread the illness work outs over a period of time with the core routine every day?

Well As I m from india , where yoga foiund its origin from , I know a lot about it . Idea of spreading out work out makes no sense as Yoga won't be proved fruitful that way . You should practice them daily . What you can do is to select a few according to your needs instead of doing large number of them incompletely . If you can be more specific about your problem , I can give better suggestions . take care bbye

Depends what you're trying to achieve. For general maintenance, you need the basic workout anyway, obviously. There's no harm in learning and understanding the illness workouts. There's also not a lot of point in targeting non-existent illnesses. Waste of time. The fundamental point of yoga and qigong is to improve the state of the body, and enhance it. You can't fix something that doesn't need fixing. Unless you have a specific need, I would suggest that the breathing and stretching exercises will take care of most of your normal needs.
