Are you a last second bidder?

I am, and for many reasons... It keeps the price low, I watch several items at one time, and if I make it the end of auction in time, I will get it. Also, I believe some of the sellers on Ebay have more than one ID and drive the price up. Thats why I wait till there is only 30 seconds left and put in my maximum bid, I usually end up with a way cheaper price, because with 10 seconds to bid, the other bidder rarely makes it. It is a skill that is finely tuned, I had to do something, everything was costing so much. Being a last second bidder has made my ebay experience a challenge. How about you, any bidding tips?
