This is a really good philosophy to live by. Most problems will not simply go away or be solved on their own. It's up to us to identify the problem and come up with feasible solutions so that we can make our own lives better. If we wait for someone to solve our problems for us, they will only compound and get worse. Of course it's reasonable to ask for help when appropriate.

To be honest, I think you should have given a bit more information in your post describing what this imagery really means as not everyone will understand. Never mind though.
I do agree with this idea. The 'swimming' bit is usually difficult but I it feels good overcoming your problems.
What do you think? You didn't give your view on this.
