Cloned meats

The Us has okayed for farmers to clone animals for the purpose of selling the meats. First off if anyone has read anything I have ever published on the subject of cloning, knows that I think it is wrong on many levels. But, inorder not to get blood boiling too bad, I will stay away from that part of this. What I want to discuss about this subject, is the possiblilty that the USDA will not require for stores to inform consumers that they are buying cloned meat. I know I'm not the only that believes cloning in the 1st place is wrong. But regardless whether you think it's ok or not to clone, what do you think about buying meats and not being informed that is from a cloned animal. Personly I don't get why they would even concider selling it and telling it is cloned. I mean every product that we buy now is required to list it's ingredients. Fast food restaraunts are even required to list how many calories their food has. So why should farmers and stores be allowed to sell meats that state what kind of meat it is? Are they afraid people wouldn't buy it? I for one would not. As a matter of fact, my family and many others in our town are making preporations to stop buying meats in the stores at all. I know that's not an option for those that live inside city limits. So basicly those people will be forced to make a decision between eating meats that we have no idea what will happen after they eat for the 10-15 years or become veggetarians. And before you say they wouldn't let the stores sell it if it wasn't safe, turn on your tv and watch how many FDA approved drugs that were safe for us a few years ago are now killing us.
