Why is it that people who are not very familiar with the internet, or those who choose not to use it get so upset when other people choose to use it often? Someone I know just happens to make a comment everytime my husband or myself gets online. Things like, there are a million things more interesting than that computer, or if you would get off the computer for a while you could get something done. Now I could see the problem if i was on here all the time, or if i were negleting my other responsiblities for online time. But im not. I really don't spend that much time on hee, and when I do, it is for something productive. These comments come when i have only been on for ten minutes or less. I don't understand this and i wonder if anybody else has someone thats close to them doing the same things. And if so, does it drive you as crazy as it does me?

I don't have it now but I use to. I would just log on and pow. This was in my dial up days. I would log on and then someone(family) would call. They would get a busy signal. I would call back and o my gosh the lectures I would get. I finally got another line in so they didn't know. But I don't have a prob now. But yes did and can drive you crazy.

I get it from a few people. I spend quite a bit of time online. My friends tend to think I'm neglecting them - lol. The thing is that if I was still working at a corporate job, they'd see even less of me and I keep bringing that to their attention. They are getting better, especially after I show them what I'm doing.
