Diabetes is one of the leading disease which we are fighting today.Diabetese is so prevalant these days that almost all of us have one patient atleast in our family or relations. Diabetic patient require special care.If they skip one of their insulin dose, they can go to DIabetic coma,which is also called Hyperglycemic coma. That means patient becomes unconscious due to increase in blood sugar level. and in case if they take an overdose of insulin by mistake they can go to hypoglycemic coma that is low blood sugar level. both the cases are life threatening. so these patient require utmost care and attention.there are so many other health problems which develop secondary to diabetes.... like diabetic foot, delayed wound healing, periodontal problems etc. so wich is the best way to manage these patients?enlighten us with your thoughts.
