What does Chu Chu mean?

I have a penpal(from Japan) and she told me Chu Chu, but I don't know what it means... I'm afraid to ask, cause it might let me look stupid... Can you help me? Thanks!

Chu (or chuu) can mean 'kiss'. Japanese people like to use certain words in pairs. (eg. 'tsuya' means 'shiny', 'tsuyatsuya' means the same but is further emphasized). So by that chuchu thing, well, you got the defintion. Not get the idea. =)
