There are easier ways to exfoliate than immersing oneself in a hot spa pool with hundreds of voracious fish. But that is what I am doing in Kangal, in Central Anatolia, Turkey. The spa sits beside a snow-melt swollen river, in a valley 1,600m (5,250ft) up in the mountains of this remote agricultural region. It has made a name for itself, and its resident “doctor fish” (Garra rufa obtusa), as a treatment for psoriasis, a painful skin complaint that afflicts about 2 per cent of the UK population. I think this is a tough treatment to go with but it is worthy And it is a rare type of fish i went through this in a news where in i was very much interested to know about this. What do you mylottians think about

I have never heard of this, and I for one, would not attempt to go into that lake. It seems quite scary to me.

Since these are not pirhana I would not call them man-eating fish. Not sure this is a good thing or not. Being a painful condition, wouldn't it hurt to let the cleaner fish nibble you? I think that there could be a better way to treat the skin condition in the 2 percent of the UK population!!
