Bullies in highschool

How many agree that there should be more done in highschools where kids seem to get picked on, beat up or called names? Have you any experiences with dealing with your kid's schools or what is your opinions on it?

Honestly, I never experience the whole bully thing at my highschool. There were a few people that might be picked on, but it was rarely in the open and I can't remember more than 2 fights at my school in the past 10 years or so that I have been somehow attached to it. Neither of those fights were bullies either.
