A question that has been on my mind lately . .

Lately, I have been questioning a lot of the church's theories on what they believe. Do I believe this or that and what is right or wrong. I don't know if any church is "wrong" in their beliefs. Now my question is, is once saved always saved true? I mean can I ask Jesus in my heart at the age of 7 or 8 and be baptized, then at age 21 commit murder and still go to heaven if I never ask forgiveness? I mean once saved always saved right?
