statement?

For me this is the statement what i believe: My interpretation of this statement is that till the time you have controlled your destiny you are a successful human being. The moment u let it go you have to depend on others. I am the person who believes in making mine own destiny let it be good or bad... and take the full responsiblity of it and not cursing others for unsuccessful things. If you have the substance.... make your own way... this is a challange and we should learn how to enjoy it!!

I think it would depend on whether or not you were standing under the tree that had ten birds in it......messy or what LOL. Seriously though, these sort of sayings get on my nerves. What exactly does it mean, and why do people have to make these types of comments rather than just speaking plain english and say what they mean instead of comming out with riddles just so they can sound intellectual.
