It seems to me that lately all scary movies are getting based on some sort of creepy looking creature that resembels one another. Alot of movies out now, seem to me like they have the same basis idea of messed up creatures killing people, can't someone think of somthing creative? Do you think the same?

Yes, you're right. Instead of scaring me, the movies just bore me. The plot is so predictable and you could already guess who are going to die, or even how it's gonna end. You are also right when you said that the producers and writers should be more creative and imaginative. Since they are already spending money for props and make-up, why don't just they invest on a good storyline?

One of my favourite horror movies is Session 9. There's no scary monster or anything, but it's pretty messed up. I don't like any of the new scary movies that are released today. Some of them have good moments here and there, but they are mostly lacking in creativity as you say.

I know what you mean. They all just have the same idea over and over again. I think they just ran out of new ideas to come up with.

I don't seem to agree alot of the new scary movies are ones like Saw...Hostel...The hills have eyes about a family who get stuck in the mountains and a bunch of chemically wasted people come after them. Texas Chainsaw Massacre is another one with no monsters. I don't really understand can you maybe give me some examples ?

Yes most of the horror movies are based on some creepy creatures created and a story based on that. No creativity for horror movies, there was Saw series which I liked but not horrific enough that made me scare a scene. I think horror movies shouldn't be made ....
