after repeatedly denied by hospitals for failing to give a deposit money. What's this? Will the poor always suffer injustice? Are the rich and mighty always on the throne and can get away with anything? How can the woman sue the rich and the powerful? Where can she find justice? Not in this life for sure.

Sure wouldn't have happened in Canada. Anybody can walk into any hospital and get treated. Your health shouldn't be solely based on how much money you have. What a shame.

Yes what a shame indeed. It is common to other poor or developing countries as well. You are fortunate enough to have such a wonderful health care in your country.Cheers.

This person must not have been in the US where they allow just about anyone to get medical insurance. I am not familiar with this story. If she lost the baby while pregnant, the hospital may not have been able to save it.

This is one the reasons why people want to migrate. Health care. She lost it on her way moving from one hospital to another. This is very unfortunate. The media will make a big story, it will be over the papers then it will just die down. Everybody will just forget it and just add it on the list of statistics of victims of injustice.

:( This is such a sad story. Another reason I'm glad to live in Canada where we don't have to pay for our medical. This is such a terrible injustice that has been done to this poor woman. I cannot even begin to imagine how she must be feeling :(

It is illegal here too, but it's happening. The rich hospitals can hire lawyers but what can a poor person do. It happens again and again and nothing seems to have been done about it.
