Valentine's day is just around the corner. Most of us are probably planning what to do, where to go on that special day for lovers. What I'd like for us to do is to go back in time and think of the best valentine's day you had. Tell us your story, how best that day was for you.

the best valentine's day I had was 2 years ago, i had a restaurant exclusively for the 2 of us (my then gf,wife today). had her blindfolded while on the way there. petals of roses all over, the dining table, the chair, the floor. special menu served not offered by the restaurant to its diners, a waiter serves a stem of rose to my gf every 5 minutes until we finished dinner. a bouquet of roses at the end of the night :)

I haven't had that best valentines day yet. But If I do I will post another response. What was yours? :)

It was the first valentines day we were together. My (now) hubby was living with his father. He kicked his dad out of the house and bought steaks and potatoes and green beans for dinner. He put flowers on the table and cooked himself. He even played our favorite album (yes that was back when they were all vinyl *S*). I drove 120 miles to be there on time. And I was exhausted by the time I got there. Everything was cooked and ready....except the potatoes. So we decided to wait a while longer. We sat talking...anyhow...we finally decided that the potatoes had to be done...WRONG! It was soooo cute. He put out this wonderful meal and we went to cut the baked potatoes...they were still hard. He almost cried and I couldn't help it.. I laughed. It was the best valentines day. I got to spend it with him, he spent time trying to do something really nice for me and we had a good laugh too. Then we danced in the living room. I'll never forget that.
