What would you *not* do for love?

Is there something you wouldn't do for the love of your life? We always hear about what someone would do for love, or for their loved one(s). But, what wouldn't you do?

Honestly there are a number of things I wouldn't do. I wouldn't commit a crime or anything that goes against my moral judgement. Love isn't about hurting ones self or ruining your life, you know?

I wouldn't do anything that conflicted with my responsibilities as a parent, or with my morals, or hers, for that matter. Like other posters said, there's actually a lot that I wouldn't do, but then again, I don't think the relationship would continue if she asked me to do things that she knew conflicted with my morals or ethics.

Besides what the previous responders have said about morals and ethics, with each new relationship you carry more baggage from the last love. So you start getting a long list of things you wouldn't do. It starts to be things like I wouldn't vacation at a campground because HE wanted me to do that. Or I wouldn't let a new man choose my insurance company because I tried that before. The one thing that was not so instinctive that I have learned through the years is to not sacrifice friendships for lovers, because friendships last much longer.
