Sometimes I post something, and I get some really awesome responses. I cannot pick one all the time, because there are a few great ones. What do you do in this situation?

I pick the greatest one and the other good responses get a plus rating.

I give all good responses a +, but the best response is hard when sometimes they all are so good.

Well... If I am in this situation, I will wait for another day maybe a better response will come up. Or if I have to make a choice of several very good responses, I will choose the one that come from my friend. If from those response, none of them in my fried list, I'll pick the first good response.

I just keep going through the great ones over again and I know it is hard but eventually I decide which one I want to mark but I have to agree it is very hard sometimes

It is good that you are concerned with this. It means you will do the right thing. I too have had to choose between a couple of them. Something about one of them will be the better you just have to feel that. If in many discussions it is good that if a friend or one particular person had say 3 of the last 5 that you pick the other than your friend and spread the wealth a bit. Loyalty to a friend is a grand thing though not The thing to use to decide such a selection. You will do fine!

Thanks honey for your opinion. It is so hard sometimes. You are one of them that give great answers.

Isn't it a pity that we can't just go along the responses with a pin when this happens. If I get a number of good responses, I will pick the longest one. It might not be the most ideal way of choosing, but somebody has to get the best response and it is much better than leaving the discussion unresolved.

Well I am so glad to hear that I am not the only one with this problem. Yes, I frequently have 2-3 or sometimes more answers that all deserve best response! I sit and read and re-read them and try to see if any one of them put a little bit better twist on the discussion or something, or if one had a little more origninality. If I still cannot see any little thing that makes one stand out more than another, I literally write the 3 down on little papers and draw one out of the pile!! Silly, but it works! That way, it was totally random and hopefully without bias!

I have a very hard time deciding on the best response for a lot of my topics as I get a lot of great ones and wish that I could give it to many people. I just choose the one I like the most and make sure I give the other people a plus rating that gave great responses. I think that is all that we can do unless myLot comes up with another way of rewarding the other great responses.

Tonight I went with one because the person obviously was from a foreign country, answered my words and my intent, and added relevant content. I do not usually notice, but I bet most of my "best respnse" selections automatically go to people who speak just like I do. I do not want to blind to what all the other people in my myLot world have to say. The discussion had lots of excellent responses. I guess I try to look for something unique to set a response apart from the others.

en, It means that your discussions are always very popular and there are many responses. I do have met this problem before. when it happens I always wait and see if there would be some other great new responses, and i often mark the best reponses one or two weeks later when there are less and less reponses to my discussion. if there are several good repesonses, sometimes I mark the one posted by my friends as best response,^_^, and sometimes mark the one posted by new mylot users. now there are more and more high quality responses in mylot, it is really not easy to mark the best response, and I think mylot can give another innovation that we can mark more best repesponses in one discussion. have a great day!!

I have been faced with this dilemma a few times. I'll always give them a good comment but I wish we could give them a "runner up best response" it has to be something more than just a (+) rating.

Oh that is sooo hard. I end up reading the posts over and over. If it is between friends, I do try and spread the love a bit if you get what I am saying. I will often put off marking best response for few days and then go back to the post. This sometimes helps. It is a dilema for alot of us I think!!!

Sometimes is quite hard to make a decision what answer is the best, especially when You got more very good answer and all of them are from friends...So as I already said before solution to a problem give us a more complicated problem..... So You always have on Your mind what will think others with good response about You.. SO at this point.... I give up for some time... Even one songs says "Don't give up" So maybe will be fair to ask privately all of them what they are thinking about their answers....

I posted a couple discussions today and as I read them, I was thinking the same thing. How can I choose. They are just great comments. When you figure it out let me know because I am really hating to choose.

I never pick a best response to my discussions because I just don't feel right saying someone's opinion is better than someone elses. I don't want anyone to get their feelings hurt. I appreciate all the responses I get to my posts. Don't get me wrong, I don't think it's wrong of anyone to choose a best response, it's just not something I can do. Usually there are several responses I think are fabulous.

I would go with the one that I think is the best response of them all. You always find one answer better than the rest and that helps pick the best out of them somewhat.

Well I actually find it very hard but I read them a again and then I make a decission, but it is hard to do as I don't like upsetting anuone that is why I wish there was a way of choosing more best Responses.

There are a couple of things that make me want to give someone the best response. I think that if someone brings something up that causes lots of people to answer or respond to what they said, then it makes the discussion more appealing. Or if they come back to check up and add things to the discussion ... it makes it seem as though they have some ownership in the discussion. Otherwise it might just be something that catches my attention or makes me laugh. I love answers that make me laugh!!

I've had this happen several times. In fact I have several discussions that I still have to go back to and pick the best response, and I am avoiding it for this reason. I will go by my gut reaction- whichever one truly grabs me the most will be the best response. As I read through my discussions, I always comment where appropriate, and all awesome responses get some recognition that way. Since there can only be 1 "best response" for this system, we just have to "bite the bullet" and choose one. What I hate is when I choose a best response and then the next day someone leaves a truly awesome comment that you definitely would have chosen as best.

I find it very hard to give it a best response sometimes. I usually take a week to pick best response. That gives everybody a chance to answer. I also look at the comments on a persons answer otheres have given. It might help that other people feel the same but the orginal person came up with the idea.

I see what is really the best of the best response and I give for him/her. I rate the person that response good things and If say anything that I didnt like I rate - . I dont have no one best response. hehehe but I thin that I made a lot of good resposes, maybe because of it that I have 7 star rate.
