god ways

As you are aware that Hindus have very many gods for different purpose : Laxmi - goddess for money, Saraswathi - godess for learning etc. etc. We have the idols of most of the family gods in a separate room - known as pooja room. Morning after bath, we chant vedic hymnes and devotional songs in praise of god and offer humble prayers for about 10 minutes, by lighting the lamp placed in front of the idols. We also give bath to the idols in milk.

I usually pray to God and thank him for all his blessing anywhere I am. Even when i ride and travel the city, I just close my eyes and pray to Him. Prayers are not intented only in the church but whenever you feel like talking to him, I have faith He always listens..
