When raising my family, buying groceries and planning meals were easy. Leftovers went fast in a family of five. Today, I live by myself. You go to the market and there's a package of chicken breast, let's say a package of six. Yes, you can cook one and freeze the rest. Ok, now you've got a top sirloin roast, five pounds. You have leftovers and you don't feel like eating them day after day. I throw away a lot of food. Being single you don't go out and buy a bunch of bananas, because most of them will spoil. Dinner for one, How do you do it? I can't eat a whole can of Black-eyed peas.
