Yes, I have spent weeks in hospital because of depression because my psychiatrist feel that it is better for me to be under the care of professional caretakers so that I will not do anything silly to myself especially if my level of depression warrants it.

I have been hospitalized several times for depression. My pdoc didn't think it was a good idea for me to be alone encase I decided to do something desperate.

Im very thankful to my Almighty Allah (God) that I've never been hospitalized in my whole life. Its a blessing. I sometimes get depressed but I know how to cope with it. Depression is something that we bring in our lives. If we try, we can get over it. Nothing is impossible in the world. U have a beautiful, healthy and happy future. stick to it. Whether you succeed or not all depends on the efforts you make. Wish you good luck.
