I had been banking online for more than 5 years and I am very comfortable with it. All my bank accounts have internet banking facility and I log in almost everyday to perform finanial transaction. Recently in my country, all the banks need to implement the Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) as an additional level of online banking security. After the 1st level login, a text message is sent to your registered mobile phone and you will need to keep in the number send in the text message. This is to ensure that no other people can login even when you have online password.

Internet crime has taken a real bad shape today. Be it normal surfing or any transaction. One cannot rely on providing personal information on Internet. You never know if it goes in wrong hands and is misused. If internet has provided us with many opportunites and uses, it has many disadvantages n is unsafe too. Thus services like Internet Banking are surely helpful but unsafe indeed. One must try avoid usage of these services.

Yes. I currently work at Hillcrest Bank and our online banking is very very very secure!! If someone tries 3 times to log in, it will shut the login down! Very Awesome!!

I do not use internet banking facilities much but only with trusted websites that I am familiar with e.g government agencies.

I have been banking online for years and love it. I have online access to my two brick and mortar banks and to my online bank also (I would sure hope so) It saves a lot of money (stamps, gas) not having to mail bills or go to the bank to transfer money between accounts. If it wasn't secure, a bank would not offer it because they realize they would loose thousands of members if something negative happened.

Personally, I use internet banking all the time and have never had a problem. I have had more problems with shop workers using my credit card number, or the mail man (or neighbours) taking a replacement credit card out of the mail. The banks have some of the best security when it comes to the internet of anyone....
