Have you had schooling over the Internet?

I am curious of how many people earned their degree or training online. I took online courses from my local college but I am talking about the schools that offer there entire certificate or degree online. Is it legit? Has it worked for you? My main problem so far is the area in which I wish to study. I am working on a Biology major and want to go into Forensics.

I have two ideas about this. First you could take some online courses from some college that you don't know about. Or, you could find out if any local colleges offer online courses. It is difficult to know which offerings are really worth the cost. That surely sounds like a great field to go into. I would think that many of the later courses would be offered at a school. While more of the everyday (general)courses might be offered online.

I have taken some of my previous course online through a local college. I am hoping I can finish a lot of my requirements online but am not finding much success at finding science classes but it perhaps could be because labs are usually involved.

I am currently a student online at the Art Institute Online. My studies will be completed entirely online. I have been doing it since July 2005. I don't know if my degree requires an internship or anything (I'm only in my 2nd year), but I would think they'd work something out individually (I have attended with Americans residing in Germany). I think you want to check if they're accredited and check with some places you're interested in obtaining future employment to see if they'd accept an online degree. Good luck!
