Credit card fraud at Orange Julius

I am in a bit rage now. I really dont know what to do... Let me explain... My wife was working in Orange Julius till Oct 2006. She quit that job and is working some where else... I gave her one of my Visa debit card to use that time. When i did not see any transactions in the card, I asked her about that. She told me that it is with her some where in the house. I did not think much. Last week on Jan 16th, i saw 2 transactions in my online bank account. The transactions were done on Jan 12th and bank posted them online on Jan 16th. I called her and she said she lost the card long back and she was afraid to tell me. The 2 transactions amounted to $190. I called Orange Julius and went there immediately. I told that my wife lost the card and one of the employees is using the card now. He was surprised to see the transactions. He said even if he had a big party in his juice corner, the transaction will not exceed $60. Each juice is $5 there. He told me that he will find the person who was working at 11 am on 12th Jan. He will get me my money back. I was expecting his call and after 4 days i called him. He says that Head Office in Boise is going to take care of the issue. He gave me a Toll free number which never connects. Since i was an Internet Junkie, i managed to get their office number in Boise and called them. Unfortunately, i did not dispute the transactions since this manager said that he will pay me back. Now the head office says that the Bank will pay me back. I dont understand. They have to check for my signature or Id when a person swipes my card. If he dont know the Pin, you surely have to check the card. They are not ready to investigate who worked at 11 am on 12th Jan. I was explaining them that they are employing a theif who swiped my card and took $190 to make the cash balance even for 12th Jan. I dont understand how these managers can be soo sloopy. The Bank will pay you.. Why the Heck the bank has to pay me. Your employee stole the money. Why should i take it from the Bank??Seriously, this will never happen in India. We will resolve the issue at that moment there. There is no question of Bank paying. Also, he says that it is discrimination if he asks his employees who has the card now. What the heck man... Hardly you have 2 employees at the store at 11 am in the morning. You can even match the signature they scribbled on the credit card transaction... I cancelled the card with the bank.. I lost $190 just like that... I dont know what to do. Thanks for reading... I was just trying to share my moments with my friends here... I am soo cranky now...
