Bad teeth... what do you do?

I have a relative who doesn't take care of her teeth. She has tooth decay and I can see the "black decay lines" around her top front teeth. The thing is.... she is a smart woman but for some reason neglects this part of herself. She has a good job (architect) and has a dental plan. Since I'm her relative and I care about her, I want to mention something to her... like "you would look amazing if you fixed your teeth". She is recently single and I think it would only help her if she had better teeth. BUT, I know this is very sensitive. Do you tell someone something they dont' want to hear because you think it might be in their best interest? Or do you leave it along since you are being invasive of a personal matter. Don't know what to do. HELP!
