Never fell into such situation. I dont know what would i do, but i think it depends on situation, on that stranger and probably some other factors. But its obvious that i will try to save him as far as i can

I'd do everything to save the life of a person (it doesn't matter if stranger or not). But I don't know if I'd risk my life, I have a little child to grow up and I think he still needs me, so I'd like to live another little bit....

yea i,d probably go 2 take risk 2 save someone,s life bcuz everybody has 2 die.so if i,d certainly do dat then it would feel proud 2 me dat i,ve save someone,s life.in our religion ISLAM it,s stated dat anybody saves anybody,s life means he/she save da whole humanity.so if ever i had a chance i,d insha,ALLAH do dat...

hi aerogal. good question. i think it comes down to your natural instincts at the time. usually if you see someone in need of help in the street you would automatically help them out without thinking but if it would mean endangering your own life in the process it may be different..who knows. it depends alot on circumstances as well i think, eg.. if you were with your own kids, would helping a stranger at the time put your own children in danger as well as yourself? but if you are on your own, you may well help them without thinking and hope for the best. thats a good question!

Yes I would risk my Life to save a stranger. I would be able to live with myself if I knew that I could have helped them and did not.

I would like to say I would for sure but since I have never faced this situation , I cannot say for sure . I believe it would depend on what the situation was that the stranger needed saving from , for example if the person was drowning I wouldn't be able to swim out and try to save them , as I don't know how to swim , I could try to find someone but then it wouldn't be the same as me saving them , but if it was a car accident and having to try to get someone out of a car that might explode or something then I would like to think that I would at least do what I could to get someone out .

for ur information, i dont know swimming. hence i think it'd be foolish for me to try to save a stranger from drowning. in all other cases, im there. n specially, if a FEMALE is in need for help, i can risk my live till the end! not because im a male (lol), but because, i think its duty of every man to help a female in need...n im a typical man!

i suppose , to be honest, i wont. I believe to be practical. i hav my dear ones to care for, n there are many more stranger than my dear ones whom i care for. So i wud say that i better care for the near and dear ones. But can i ask u , why r u in the dilema. Does a stranger's life depend on u ?

Yes, I think I would save a complete stranger's life. A life is very precious and it does not matter if it's mine, my loved ones, or someone I've never met before. If I know somebody is in danger and I'm nearby and able to help, I will do my best to save him/her. If I feel I cannot do it by myself, then I'd ask another person for help.

It depends: Depends on the situation, for instance: If it's some kind of injustice sure i'll save the stranger cause I hate that even there are some risk for my life but to be howest for certain limitations.

Whether a stranger or a friend its the life of a person so i will definitely try to save the person.Saving the life of a person is primary. One should always think that how hard it is for a person being in risk.

When I was 17 and living in Arkansas we swam a lot in the rivers. It was where everyone went, families, teens, adults. On one occasion, as I was standing in the river with my younger siblings I heard a woman scream, when I turned to look in the direction in which it came from I saw a small head bobbing in the water. I didn't think, there was no choice; I swam as fast as I could and snatched the struggling child from below the water. The current carried us a little way downriver before I was able to haul her onto the bank. She was frightened, blue, and spitting up water, but she was alive. I don't think when you are in a situation like that you have time to think. It is instinct. You see someone in danger and you just react. At least it was that way for me. It is terrifying, and the reality of what you have done doesn't often set in until after the fact. I think that when it comes down to it, it is just a part of us. I guess fairly I should say that maybe it is not this way for everyone, but I know that it was that way for me once, and I would hope that if the need should ever arise again, I wouldn't waste the time trying to make a decision, that time may be all they have.

When I finally decided to save a person, be it friend or stranger, I WILL DO. Our life should not only benefit friends but strangers who will become friends after the event anyway. Mankind should be for all. Like the sunrays, cool moon, the selfless rains etc.

I have done it a couple of times and felt great ... there was a fire at my neighbours house and she was a lady with a 2 year old kid ... though fire was not to an extent that it could kill anyone but the lady was so scared as the fire had extended its length to the front door ... back then, i use to live in a condominium/flat. and there were no one around ,,, i decided to get in and get them out of the burning house... thanks sid

A complete stranger? Would I? I probaly won't. It depends if I do though because sometimes I just do things that I don't even know. I think it depends on how he looks and everything. Not being prejudice or races or anything or anything like that. If he is like a homeless person and I feel sorry for him, I probaly would. But if it is someone who can afford to buy the country, than I won't saved them! Those kind of people are too selfish and needs to be taught a lesson.
