Do you ever end up paying late fees on library books?

I love to go to the library...there is so much information. I could spend a whole day there and still find interesting things that I want to read and learn about. I try not to get too excited and just check out a bunch of books at one time...Ive learned that it's hard to keep track of them once I've taken them home. They get scattered around the house. I usually check out about 4 or 5 books at a time. The library gives you plenty of time to have them AND my library has a system where you can go online and extend the time you have them. Still, I seem to end up paying late fees. Not every time but quite often. And even tho it's not very much at all I know that it does add up. Do you have the same problem? WHy is it that I don't just get the books back on time or extend my checkout time?
