Here r the recipes for urs daughter! If u'll like then u may try them. Yummy Birdseed Snack: Ingredients 1 tablespoon raisins 1-2 tablespoons flax seeds 2 tablespoons peanut butter 1/3-1/2 cups rolled or instant oats raw sugar (optional) Directions: Mix all of the ingredients together with a fork and eat! You can add any type of seeds or nuts for added crunch. Enjoy! Chickpea Snacks: Ingredients Chick peas a bit of olive or other oil favorite spices Directions: Drain the chickpeas well, and then toss with enough oil to coat and sprinkle with spices. I like to make with curry type stuff. Anything you like with chickpeas should work well. Spread the chickpeas on a baking sheet, and bake at 400 degrees for 45 minutes. Stir midway through the cooking time. They are nice and crunchy! Smashing Confetti Sweet Potato Snack: Ingredients 1 medium sweet potato 3/4 cup frozen sweet white corn Directions: Peel sweet potato and chop into chunks. Place potato chunks in a microwave steamer, adding enough water to the container to surround the chunks without covering them. Steam the potato chunks in the microwave until they can be easily pierced with a fork (I just set my microwave to the raw vegetable setting). Remove the steamer form the microwave and set aside. Place the corn in a microwavable dish and microwave until completely thawed and thoroughly heated. Drain most of the liquid from the steamer, reserving about a tablespoon of the liquid (this makes the potatoes creamier). Mash the potatoes with a potato masher and stir in the corn. Voila! You have a yummy, simple, nutritious, colorful snack! Add a big veggie salad on the side and you have a great, satisfying meal!
