Hey there, just thought I'd attempt a try at replying to you since it seems that the thread starter hasn't responded. With tarot, or in my experience with (I do read, but I'm still learning), each card has a meaning. You don't really have to know anything about the person that you're reading for, mainly because the cards already have a general set meaning. So not to rain on anyone's parade, but the art of tarot is really in your own believing. If I ask, "Will I get some much needed money soon?" and the card comes up with a general, "yes" to money, depending on the person, it could be as simple as a paycheck hitting the bank on Friday. I do have friends that take the tarot to heart, and I do read my own from time to time, but I'm not always able to find a place for it. HTH!! : )
