The only tip I have is to treat the apartment as you would your own home, with respect. Be sure to keep it clean, and don't do any damage to it, because if you do, no matter how minor it is, the landlord may end up keeping your security deposit!

Well you already know my opinions, but I shall give them again :) Pros: 1-You never have to fix anything. If it breaks, it's the management's problem and they have to send someone to fix it 2-Free bug spraying 3-No yard work 4-Close neighbors (get to know your neighbors, for sure) Cons: 1-Noisy neighbors. It's not as bad now that we're out of the college apts, but our upstairs neighbors are in a band and we get a free preview of their new material EVERY SINGLE DAY. I yell at the ceiling a lot 2-You're not gaining any equity, etc. 3-You can't repaint (this is my biggest gripe! lol) Overall, though, I love the apartment life. I think it's so neat because when I was younger and watching "Friends," I alwwayyysss wanted to live in an apartment. Plus, ever since we moved to H'burg, I've wanted to live at Mark VI, and now I do, so life is good :) So how are we durin' our hairs for the hitchin?

ITs good i too stay in an apartment. if you like people you can definate make lot of friends in the apartment you can always go for an stroll and will find people in the lobby. winters too you can go out have fun. THe apartment exterior is taken care of nicely so no more shoving off the roads full of ice the heating is always better in the apartment than a house. dump all the unneccesssary u don't want or need as the space might be a constraint to keep unwanted stuff.
