So I post about problems I have mostly, hoping to get advice. I mean I do get advice , I get a lot of it and it really helps but then there is certain people that comment and say "I cant help", or "I have no advice for you". That kind of bugs me, you would think they would just not post if they didn't have anything to say to my discussion! I hate when people do that, stick to discussions you can comment then and don't waste your time on a low quality post!

As long as you are getting responses that help you just forget about the ones that think they will earn money for those responses. :) Life is too short to stress over it. I am a great one to talk though, because it drives me up the wall. Ha. :)

I guess those people are just trying to get money out of the site by answering every question they come across. I think there should be a minimum number of words you can put to stop people doing that, although of course you can give them a negative for their answer.

yep. most of them just don't know the rules or they just don't have common sense at all. if they go on doing like that, they will never last long in this site.

haha! that's true. such people are irritating! common sense, if you don't know anything about the discussion, if you don't have any advice, if you don't know any answer, then why post such phrases? better find some discussions which you really can find yourself being helpful and discussions where you can give more sensible reactions/ responses.

Sometimes, discussions/questions are about things I would like to know myself. I don't post because I don't know the answer, just looking for it.

We all agree that they are trying to get more points and money, and they do get it even though they didn't actually participate in your discussion. I don't like either when they do that. What puzzles me is the responses that make no sense, obviously they didn't even read the topic or question. Like the last one I did, the first person responded by saying he thought I had marital problems and I was tired of my children because I was annoyed with them talking to me while I was on the phone. That made no sense, he must not have even read the whole thing, just the first sentence. I don't like that either. I guess that's why mylot doesn't pay a lot for each response, some are not even worth 2 cents.

This is something highly ridiculous and quite frustrating too. Such people simply want to increzse treh count of tehir posts, and don't really concentrate on teh quality of their posts. Gosh!! I find it hard to put in even 5 responses in a day.... and poeple manage to post 100+ in a span of few hours. That's crazy!! total nutters!!

So do I, and the only reason I am responding to this is because I need to be able to paste things and I can't do that until I reach 500 so your post is around 289 or something.

well it increases the number of post. everyone is here for money (thats what i think). many get addicted to mylot after 50 responds. they want to keep increasing their number of post so they respond to everything. thanks to mylot for the rating thing at least now they will be concerned about their reputation.
