Never invest money for heaven sake in internet based investment companies. As it is the sites do not pay for participating in their site activity and imagine if you put your funds in. Most investment sites are scams. There are thousands of sites which run away with upfront fees!! Scroundrels and rogues.

You can go to FXStreet.com if you want to learn more about currency trading. Personally I put $50 dollars in my brokerage to collect interest (It pays better than my savings account, might be different for you). I don't really trade. And yea, trading currency can be the riskiest thing you ever do. Then again, even crossing the roads are risky if you don't know what you are doing.

Start investing at least 1% of your paycheck in a retirement of savings account. Another good place to check for good investments is Clark Howard. I heard him talking about something today that was 6% until the end of April. Each time your work place allows you to change your investments, increase them by another %. If you can start out investing 5%, even better. You MUST have saved money. Stay away from credit cards, the eat up your investing.
