Vista's Here! What's the Big Deal?

what's so great about Microsoft's new version of Windows - Vista? Anyone here who have tried the new system?

I was talking to a friend about this just last night, he is my computer tech and I asked him if we were going to get it but he said it is always best to wait for the second version to come out as it has all the bugs ironed out.....so me waits....

Yea,you are right.Just take windows xp sp1 as a sample, you can find too many patches of all kinds on http://update.microsoft.com since its first sight. Generally the first vision of a operating system is always a experiment, for its stability ,safty and other things,but the second vision will be a official one which had patched to the first vision, otherwise, the windows vista has a strict demand for your pc's hardwares, most older pc can't run with it. SO waiting for the second vision is a wise choice.

yup, 2nd version usually are free from bugs. My friend tried it and he said that vista dont have that much new to offer. Some of the enhancement/update can be seen in linux. I dont know if that is true. Anyway, i think i will wait for the second version before i try it.
