We should create a "STUPID" law!

I have a stupid law in my house. LOL And the SMACK on the back of the head is called a brain duster. Because obviously the dust settled on someone's brain and is stopping that person from thinking clearly. So, they get a smack on the back of the head to jiggle it around a little bit and get it working again. You know, like a soda machine needs a good hit every now and then...doesn't hurt the machine, but it gives you your soda because it forgot to work and you had to remind it!

LOL Canadabis1. I missed your discussions. You must have been gone AWOL for a while. :) You're so right about people doing stupid things. Would you believe I saw a member of our law enforcement agency driving along with his phone up to his ear a couple of weeks ago. I couldn't believe it. And, as for people standing in the middle of the aisle in the store, I've had that too. I'm fed up with oul wans meeting up in the supermarket and chatting away as if they haven't seen each other in years and blocking up the whole aisle with their trolleys. Now if they don't move I just grab one of the trolleys and shove it out of the way. I'd love to see a big invisible hand giving that "SMACK!!" and the look of surprise on those people's faces. Another smack should go to a till operator in our local supermarket who, when she asks for the amount I owe her, holds out her hand for the money. This BUGS me. I'm trying to get the money out of my purse and she's sitting there with her mouth open and her hand out. I feel like slapping the hand off her. Have some manners!!! When I hold out the money THEN it's time to put your hand out. Oh dear........I'm ranting again. *blush*

Well we have some of the stupidist people working in the government. How do you think all those stupid laws get passed? Put in an application and maybe you can get hired as the official stupid person smacker. The government is hiring. You could work 20 hours a day.

Oh yeah - lots of stupid things happen in theis world but I couldn't be bothered keeping tabs on it all. If it doesn't adversely affect me or others, as far as I'm concerned people are free to be as stupid as they like. It's easy to say "excuse me" could you move please when someone is blocking your path. If someone chooses not to wear gloves because it's not cool, then they're the ones who will suffer for it - don't understand why that deserves a smack. Have you never done anything "stupid" in your life?

I took some college courses and went to the registrars office to sign up. It was registration time. I walk in to the registrars office at the local community college and the girl looks at me and says can I help you. And I said I need to register. And she looks and says to me 'For classes?'. It took all I could not to say 'Here's your sign' I also know a man, a lawyer, who was closing his garage door, you know the folding kind, and he smashed his fingers. You know the man sewed the manufacturer for not putting a warning on the door. He got money, next time, you go to buy a garage door, remember part of the cost of it was due to a stupid lawyer. My son says 'Stupidity should be painful'. He is right. Please though, no new laws - our lawmakers are already overwhelmed enough.

No. We need to get rid of laws that PROTECT stupid people, and let them learn for themselves. Like those lawsuits where people hurt themselves and sue other people (Old Lady v. McDonalds, hot coffee anyone?)

YES! This is a great idea. I think that everybody should take a test that evaluates common sense, and people with the top 30% of the tests get to carry around special sticks that are to be used specificaly for smacking stupid people when they do stupid stuff. That would be awesome.

ok i so needed someone to smack one lady today. i was walking in a parking lot with my 3 year old and i was infront of a car when all of a suddon it started moving. we almost got hit cause the lady was talking on the phone while pulling out and she wasn't watching at all. i was in front of the driver's side window so how could she not see me. anyway the worst stupid thing someone said to me i'll never forget. i was at wal mart and wanted to order a personalized photo calendar. i brought in my 12 pics. i asked how long it would take and if they'll send back my original picks. she looked at me like i was the stupid one and said no. they glue them on the calendar. i asked to speak to someone else. i guess she had no clue how to do it even though she worked in the photo lab. they inlarge them and put them on a calendar, they don't glue your 4-6 on. i could do that myself at home.
