i've noticed some scratches on our teflon pan. also the teflon spatula seems to have burns. it got some deformities. i didn't bother asking my housemates since they're my partner's family. i don't want to have a fight with my hubby just because of that. but teflon is not quite cheap and i can't tell them that they should not using aluminum utensils on it.

thats used to be my problem wiht my maid. what i do is replace all those that may scratch my teflons. i use scratch free scrubs and foams. and use utensils thats made for them i even told them thats its to expensive to be damaged.

i love using nonstick pans when cooking. less stress for me. and considering that they are way too expensive especially the original ones, they should be taken with so much care. i don't use dish scrubs when washing them. instead, i use soft cotton cloth. when cooking especially when frying, i don't overcook the food since it will lessen the life of my nonstick pans. plus i don't use aluminum utelsils. i also use utelsils which are nonstick and mostly of the same brand. as for non stick cookwares, i love tefal.

i have a very simple solution that you can impliment immediatly!! get rid of any and all utensils used for cooking that are aluminum!! thats what i did in my house...went out and bought a complete set of the safe plastic utensils and tossed all the others into the trash can! worked like a charm! lol
