Is it right that parents start disciplining their children when they are still..

small ? Teenage problems has risen and most of our parents have problem disciplining their children. I think the root of this is parents have not started disicplining them when they were still small. Parents should not tolerate or correct immediately the bad habits or attitude in their children right from the start.

Yes, discipline needs to be started young and continued as needed as they go through the years. You can't let kids have free rein and then think you are going to finally discipline them when they reach 13...it won't work. And most of all, remember that consistency is very important!

that's right. disciplining a child who is already 13 years years old would be too late. peer pressure & the environment are big factors in the development of the child's behavior and how he looks at things. it should be started at home when their minds are still fresh & they are still young. thanks for the post. :-)
