is MyLot is only for money making purpose ?

what it seems to me is that many or i will say 99.9% people are here to make money including me. but dont you think mylot can also be used for communication and friendship pupose too?

well i'm only new ... and i came here originally to help a friend out. I'd like to think that i could make some new friends here but i'm not sure on where to start
