black apple

Hi guys, Everyone like to eat apple even me, but my quesiton is i heard about red apple and green apple. can anyone explain what is black apple. why its named like that.

im like you i never heard of a black apple. i went online to see if i could find out and help you out but all im seeing is things called black knots with is a disease of plums and cherries. id also be interested of knowing that one...good luck
