Spending time with them while doing their homework, read to them from a young age. Answer their questions with answers not "I said so" or "because" "I don't know" these types of answers don't allow our children to learn. It also hinders them from asking questions and asking questions is how you learn. If you don't answer your childrens questions, one day they will stop asking and that hurts them most of all.

What my mom did to me was to always follow up on my studies. She'd help with my assignments and some projects. She also keeps track of my test schedules and always make it a point that I study my notes a day before the test. Sometimes she makes questionnaires out of my lessons that I would have to answer before I can play. It really pisses me off to answer tons and tons of questions but I guess it paid off. I became a bright student and as I get older I tend to be more independent earlier than others. I do my homework on my own and study by myself. Guidance from the parents is very important to learning kids.

I believe this is a never ending thing us parents will be doing. Like beaniefanatic13 said spend time with them answer their question as fully as you can if you don’t know the correct answer say that, and help them find the correct answer. Looking forward to reading other parents answers.

They shouldn't do anything. They have to let their children to study themselves very hard.If someone is always pushing them from behind they are not going to study at all.
